Im Jahr 2005 gegründet und mit Hauptsitz in Solingen, Deutschland, ist cisbox ein führendes Unternehmen auf dem Gebiet der P2P-Software in Deutschland. Mit über 140 Mitarbeitern bietet cisbox seinen Kunden innovative Lösungen für die Optimierung von P2P-Prozessen. Diese basieren auf Cloud- und KI-Technologien und sind branchenübergreifend einsetzbar. Neben dem Hauptsitz in Solingen betreibt cisbox zwei Standorte in Ho-Chi-Minh-Stadt, Vietnam, um Softwareentwicklung und Datenkennzeichnungsdienste anzubieten.
Das Unternehmen hat sich eine starke Marktposition in der DACH-Region erarbeitet, insbesondere in den Bereichen Dienstleistungen, Gesundheitswesen und Gastgewerbe.
Mit mehr als 1000 Kunden unterschiedlicher Größe und der Zertifizierung als Peppol Access Service Provider ist cisbox ein wichtiger Akteur in der Branche. Das umfassende Software- und Serviceangebot von cisbox deckt den gesamten Workflow der Kreditorenbuchhaltung ab, von der Rechnungserfassung über die Datenvalidierung bis hin zur Zahlungsabwicklung.
In den letzten Jahren hat cisbox sein Softwareportfolio erweitert, um auch Bestellprozesse und analytische Funktionen anzubieten. Das Unternehmen verfügt zudem über ein umfangreiches Netzwerk von Partnern, die über die White-Label-Plattform von cisbox verschiedene Branchen bedienen.
Die Gründer von cisbox, Stephan Kern und Sebastian Mehrle, bleiben dem Unternehmen verbunden und werden gemeinsam mit Main Capital Partners die nächste Wachstumsphase gestalten. Main wird cisbox dabei unterstützen, das Wachstum weiter voranzutreiben, sowohl durch internationale Expansion als auch durch die Erweiterung des Produktangebots. Strategische Zukäufe sollen dazu beitragen, das Portfolio zu ergänzen und die Marktposition zu festigen.
